We are proud of our beer and the people that make it possible. Fair State Co-op is made up of Member-Owners, two words that mean a whole lot to us. As a Member, you belong to a vibrant group of people that share your enthusiasm for beer and recognize it as a catalyst for building community. As an Owner, you know that when you grab a pint or a four-pack, you’re investing in your own business – one in which you have a meaningful stake and in whose future you play an important role.
Member Benefits 
DEMOCRACY: Vote upon the direction of the brewery, or even run for the Board.
SPECIAL ACCESS: As a member, get first (and sometimes exclusive) access to limited
release beers and events.
GIVING BACK: Help decide which nonprofits we partner with, then lend a hand at our volunteer events.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Elected by their fellow members to represent their interests and fulfill fiduciary responsibilities.
SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT: Gather with other members for fun & frivolity at special events in the Taproom and throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota several times a month.

We started a brewery because we love great beer. We made it a cooperative because we believe that when people come together, amazing things can happen. We share stories, come up with new ideas, and start to see the world a little differently.
